The guardian: Saw this at Frightfest in August and most people I spoke to were disappointed by the ending, which dissipates the interesting build-up with a rather silly Saw-esque device and ultimately unsatisfying reveal. -http://www.theguardian.com/film/2013/nov/14/in-fear-review

This is a British film and it is a THRILLER, the movie was shot in areas such as; Cornwall and Bodmin Moore. This type of movie is what you call an art house movie; this is because it was produced by a small company as opposed to a big company such as 'Walt Disney.

  • Parkland

I have not personally seen any billboards, advertisements on the television or banners on the side of buses.  If it was not for this blogging task I would not have known about this films release.
However I did come across reviews, this includes reviews from the guardian, IMDb and The Hollywood reporter.
IMDb:    5.4/10
The Hollywood reporter:  A compact, effective thriller set in way-rural Ireland, Jeremy Lovering's In Fear makes the most of three actors, a car and a network of narrow roads winding through the woods. Literal-minded viewers might have trouble with a hard-to-rationalize ending, but horror fans in general should embrace its stripped-down scares.http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/fear-sundance-review-415427
